We are very pleased to announce you the second edition of the Island Shamaal, Mauritius Ocean Classic by Epic Kayaks, a race which form part of the Surf Ski World Series and which will take place on the 11th of September 2010 from Souillac to Le Morne (28 kms) in the South of the beautiful Island of Mauritius!

The first edition, successfully run, has attracted a good amount of international and local paddlers. This race has already not only established itself has an annual key one, but also as a fantastic week of surf ski which should not be missed by all paddlers.

The Island of Mauritius also offers all the facilities and opportunities for combining a wonderful and exciting family holiday at the same time. And, we are pleased to inform you that Air Mauritius and Naïade Resorts, the events airline and hotel partners, are offering special rates for participants, their families and accompanying persons… 

Mauritius Ocean Classic is likely to be viewed as one of the best downwind courses in the World Series.
